Every February 13th, we celebrate World Radio Day (WRD). Adopted by the United Nations in 2011, World Radio Day reminds us of radio’s importance as one of the most dependable and widely utilized forms of media around the globe.
This World Radio Day we’re celebrating the release of Gagl Solo, a new free version of Gagl for individual contributors to connect to the studio. Read the full Gagl Solo press release here.
Gagl Standard (available since 2023) is our audio subscription service that allows participants to connect to a Comrex IP audio codec (i.e. ACCESS or BRIC-Link). Remote guests or hosts use their laptops or smartphones plus a headset to connect to the studio by simply clicking a link. Gagl Standard supports up to five contributors per session and is available worldwide for $35 per month or $350 per year.
Gagl Solo offers a subset of Gagl Standard features. It’s an incredibly easy way for an individual contributor to connect to the studio. With tens of thousands of Comrex codecs around the world, Gagl opens up possibilities for organizations to bring in audio from remote sources without sacrificing audio quality or requiring professional gear. Perfect for getting high-quality audio from the field, Gagl Solo is available worldwide, free of charge.
