How to get your Comrex product repaired
We provide service and support on all products sold by Comrex. The only limitation is parts availability - many of our discontinued products use parts that are no longer manufactured.
If you need to send your unit in for repair, please call and let us know it is on the way (800-237-1776). It is extremely critical that you provide a good description of the problem you are having. Simply saying 'It does not work' does not help our engineers. There can never be enough information!
If you are unsure about sending your unit in, please call us. We are happy to provide troubleshooting over the telephone and have test lines in place. In most cases, we are also able to provide equipment loans to cover you in an emergency.
For the most efficient service, please read the following:
- Fill out the Repair Form (PDF) and enclose it with your unit. Our normal turn around time is three business days and an RMA is not required. We would be happy to talk with you about your unit before you send it in. This might avoid charges - in many case, the problem can be solved with some simple settings.
Also, please include your power supply.
- Terms: Terms are Cash-in-Advance (CIA), Cash-on-Delivery (COD) or Credit Card (Visa or Mastercard only) unless you have an established account with us. If you are going to use Visa or MasterCard, please fill in the Credit Card Form (PDF) and enclose it with the unit. Nothing will be charged to your account until we have spoken with you and discussed the charges. If you prefer, you can wait until the repair is done before providing us with the credit card form. We will not accept a credit card number over the phone, the form must be completed, signed and the transaction completed before the repair is shipped. If you would like to establish an open account, please fill out our Open Credit Form (PDF) and fax it to 978 784 1717. This process can take up to two weeks depending on the response from your references. If you are unsure about your account status, just give us a call at 978 784 1776.
- Shipping: All upgrades and warranty repairs are returned via UPS Ground. Charged repairs are also shipped UPS Ground at your expense unless otherwise noted. If you prefer a faster way, we will add the expedited shipping charges to your bill or you may provide a shipping account number on the repair form. Please indicate your preferred shipping method on the Repair Form. NOTE: Using ASAP in the space marked "Date Required Back" will result in expedited shipping. If you have no specific date, please leave this area blank. As noted above, our normal turn around is three days. If more time is required, you will be contacted.
