Cumulus Media Station WFAS in Westchester/NY makes history by airing live audio over Wireless EVDO using a Comrex ACCESS (BRIC/IP Codec.) This is the first BRIC codec remote ever broadcast. Corporate Director of Engineering of Cumulus Media, Gary Kline states "I see this as the future of remotes and live audio. I'm really jazzed about this." Listen here

Beta tester Randy Shull, chief engineer for WFAS-FM is planning to broadcast for 8 hours continuously on Friday. We'll keep you posted on the progress.
